Wow, this was SO good... and, I'm not even a big 'Carter fan', either. So, believe me when I say... really, honestly, incredibly good. So believable, very well-written. I could actually 'hear' her voice in my mind, you captured Sam so completely. Well done! Thanx for a fic with a Carter that was true-to-life. One that I could relate to and enjoy. Loved it!
